Switchboards and distribution boards
Feeder devices and busbar for panel builders and LV assemblies.
Switchgear
Modular low voltage busbar systems with fuse switch disconnectors, switch disconnector fuses and circuit breaker adapters for switchboard and distribution board assemblies.
Every device mounts to one 185 mm busbar system behind a touch safe covering, so fuse, switched and circuit breaker feeders sit side by side in one panel.

One busbar system carries every device in the panel, so the feeders are chosen for the duty rather than the busbar.
Devices for NH (HRC) fuses from size NH00 to NH3, covering 160 to 630 A fuses, mounted directly on the busbar with one or three pole switching and cable outgoing at the top or bottom. A double size 3 strip carries up to 1,250 A, for the secondary side of a transformer. Electronic fuse monitoring or an LED fuse indicator is available on every size.
Sizes NH00 to NH3 with a snap switching mechanism that operates at a defined speed whatever the operator does, and opens both fuse contacts for a double break. The utilisation category suits motor and other inductive loads, and the units are suitable as a supply circuit disconnecting means. The deeper versions can be operated through a closed panel door, with a flag indicator showing the switching state.
Adapters that mount circuit breakers on the busbar, for 400, 630, 800, 1,000, 1,250 and 1,600 A, with connection at the top or bottom. A compact 150 mm wide adapter covers breakers to 630 A. Mounting plates are drilled for the common breaker makes, and current transformers can be built into the adapter for energy metering.
Supports for undrilled flat copper busbars, covering modules in 50 and 100 mm widths, rear base plate profiles, and terminal strips and modules for round conductors, cable lugs and laminated copper bars, taking up to 1,600 A directly onto the busbar.
Typical ratings for the standard range. Final values are confirmed for each project.
Customised designs available. If your project needs ratings, features, design requirements or arrangements outside the standard range below, we design and manufacture to your requirements and application.

A busbar mounted system is chosen for how quickly a panel is built, how safe it is to work on, and how easily it changes later.
Clamp mounting means devices can be fitted or removed on an energised busbar system by qualified personnel, so a panel can be extended without a shutdown.
Devices clamp onto the covered busbar without drilling the copper, which saves time in the workshop and keeps the busbar intact.
Covering modules, partition plates and rear base plate profiles keep live parts protected from the front, the rear and between phases, with the covers acting as a positioning guide for each device.
Strips mount vertically with no gaps between them, and a ventilation duct between neighbouring units draws heat and switching gases upwards. That reduces mutual heating and removes the need for arcing chambers.
Padlocks, a panel key cover lock, lead sealing and optional fuse monitoring protect against unauthorised operation and show fuse condition without opening the unit.
Fuse switches, switch disconnectors and circuit breakers share a single busbar, so changes and extensions later are a matter of adding a strip.
Delstar supplies LV fuse switch disconnectors and busbar systems for:
Feeder devices and busbar for panel builders and LV assemblies.
Double size 3 strips and terminal strips for the LV side of a transformer.
Switch disconnector fuses in utilisation category AC-23B.
Adding or changing feeders on an existing busbar without drilling.
Built in current transformers for metering at the feeder.
Our LV fuse switch disconnectors and busbar systems are sourced from an established European manufacturer with more than 40 years of busbar system design behind it. Delstar delivers to site across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific.
