About Delstar

Powering Australasia's critical infrastructure.

Delstar supplies and supports the electrical equipment that keeps utilities, data centres, renewables, mining, and heavy industry running across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific.

Who we are

Delstar is a supplier, engineering services provider, and EPC contractor for high-voltage electrical infrastructure. Founded over 25 years ago and operating from offices in New Zealand and Australia, Delstar supplies premium electrical equipment from established international manufacturers, delivers installation, testing, and asset management with its own engineering team, and takes on complete infrastructure projects from design through to commissioning.

We work across the region's most demanding sectors, where downtime has consequences and specifications matter. Power and water utilities, independent power producers, metering providers, data centres, renewables, mining, oil and gas, rail, and heavy industry across Australasia and the Pacific.

Our approach

Delstar's approach is engineering-led. Our engineers are directly involved in specification, procurement, and delivery on every engagement, bringing hands-on experience across substations, distribution networks, and industrial electrical systems.

Rather than quoting blindly against a specification, Delstar's engineers evaluate each request against its intended application. Where a refinement, alternative product, or different configuration would deliver a better outcome, we say so. Where the application warrants it, we recommend equipment engineered to exceed the minimum specification, giving assets a margin of performance and durability.

As a leading Australasian representative for a select group of established manufacturers across Asia and Europe, Delstar brings internationally-recognised equipment to the region, backed by rigorous factory testing and quality assurance. Lifecycle value and long-term reliability drive our equipment selection.

Where Delstar delivers services alongside supply, you deal with one team from order through to handover and ongoing support, rather than a series of handoffs.

Where we work

Delstar operates from offices in New Zealand and Australia, with engineers and inventory held in the region. Project delivery and ongoing support extend across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific, serving utilities, independent power producers, metering providers, data centre operators, renewable developers, mining companies, industrial clients, and infrastructure operators throughout the region.

What guides us

Our priorities

Four principles shape how Delstar operates.

Engineering Credibility

Delstar's team brings direct operational experience across substations, distribution networks, and industrial electrical systems. Recommendations, specifications, and site delivery are handled by engineers, not resellers.

Long-Term Customer Partnerships

Delstar invests in lasting relationships with clients. Engineering support continues well beyond commissioning, and repeat clients work with the same team across projects.

On-Time Delivery

Delstar treats project timelines as core commitments, not soft targets. Equipment is supplied, engineering services are delivered, and support responds within the schedules agreed with clients.

Safety and Integrity

Delstar operates to international quality, safety, and environmental standards, and holds itself accountable through a published code of conduct and modern slavery statement.

Manufacturing partners

Delstar represents a carefully selected group of established manufacturers across Asia and Europe, chosen for the quality, durability, and field-proven reliability of their equipment.

Compliance

Delstar maintains policies for health and safety, conduct, modern slavery and the environment, and every product we supply is manufactured in ISO 9001 certified facilities and type tested to international standards.
